Selvaggio Blu Fast in 3 days
In recent years, alongside the demand for the Selvaggio Blu Classico, we've been asked several times whether it would be possible to combine stages and complete the ENTIRE route in fewer days. For this reason, we're offering the Selvaggio Blu Fast and Light, which follows the original route in its entirety, but instead of five days, it will be completed in three. It's a program for fit people, accustomed to mountain walking, who have no problem conquering over 1,200 meters of elevation gain and about 15 km per day on difficult and poorly marked trails. The stages, ranging from 6-7 hours on the classic route, can also last 8-9 hours. A great way to test yourself in one of Europe's most beautiful environments.
As with the Selvaggio Blu Classico, we'll certainly enjoy the beaches and most beautiful corners of the Supramonte of Baunei. However, given the length of the stages, there will be fewer stops and a faster pace is required. It also helps to have some familiarity with via ferratas or basic climbing skills. To ensure a smoother journey, without long waits at technical sections, we will reduce the number of participants per guide (from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 6). Logistics are always handled by local staff who will deliver our luggage to the stopover point in the evening, allowing us to travel lightly throughout the day.

Program
Day 1 Meeting
Meet at the B&B in Santa Maria Navarrese around 4:00 PM for a briefing with the guide and luggage storage. You can arrive in Sardinia with whatever luggage you prefer; the guide will then provide you with a waterproof bin where you can store your belongings. You can leave your suitcase at the B&B and pick it up upon your return. We'll then have dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area.
Day 2 Pedra Longa - Genn'è Modregu
We'll depart from Pedra Longa, the official start of the Selvaggio Blu, which can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. We'll ascend the Giradili ledge, passing the typical sheepfold of Us Piggius (a stage of the Selvaggio Blu Classico), continuing from there across and downhill towards Bacu Tenadili. Here we'll find the first technical section of the route, which involves a descent down a juniper staircase and then climbing up the opposite side along excellent rock slabs equipped by the guide with a fixed rope. At the end, we'll begin the descent towards the sea, the stopping point at Portu Pedrosu/Cuau. A quick swim to recharge before tackling the final two hours that will take us to the bivouac near Punta Salinas.
Time: 8 hours
Elevation gain: approximately 1300m
Length: 16 km
Day 3 Genn'è Modregu (Salinas) - Portu Mudaloru
We'll immediately head towards Punta Salinas, where the view of Cala Goloritzè and the Aguglia will offer one of the most beautiful views of the entire tour. We'll then descend briefly into Bacu Goloritzè to the beautiful beach where we'll enjoy a quick swim. From the beach, we'll continue more or less horizontally over exposed and loose terrain until we reach the panoramic Goloritzè via ferrata, which we'll ascend to the woods above. We'll soon arrive above Cala Mariolu, where we'll head for a refreshing swim. But the day isn't over yet; after leaving the beach, we'll head along faint trails towards the Mudaloru caves. A 50-meter abseil leads directly into the caves and then quickly to Portu Mudaloru beach, where we'll set up camp nearby.
Time: 8 hours
Elevation gain: approximately 700 m
Length: 12 km
Day 4 Portu Mudaloru - Cala Sisine
From Portu Mudaloru, we'll ascend the landslide on the left bank for about 15 minutes, then cross a beautiful hanging forest with sea views. We'll then encounter three abseils that will lead us to the beautiful Su Feilau Arch and then to Bacu Padente, which we'll ascend to the Ololbissi sheepfold. We'll follow the path that leads to Cala Biriala for a short stretch, then leave it to enter the Sa Nurca Gorge, where two long abseils will drop us in the Biriala forest. If time permits, we'll descend to Cala Biriala with a 40-meter abseil for a rapid swim in what we believe to be the most beautiful beach on this stretch of coast. Returning to the classic route, we'll head towards Cala Sisne, which we'll reach via a via ferrata (not trivial!) and two beautiful abseils. The effort of these three intense days will be rewarded with a final swim. The return trip by dinghy is the icing on the cake! We'll relive the entire journey from a different perspective. In about an hour, we'll return to Santa Maria Navarrese, where a nice shower and a typical 5-star dinner in a country house will round out the day. We'll spend the night in the same B&B as the first day.
Time: 8-9 hours
Elevation gain: approximately 1000m
Length: 18km
