Rock climbing in the Adamello-Brenta mountain group

Introduction

Climbing in the “Adamello-Brenta” group requires time and a certain athletic training in addition to the technical one. The approaches here, except for some cases, are always quite long as well as the descents and they often require an overnight stay in a refuge. However, don’t be scared as spending the night in one of these shelters will be just a pleasure, both for the view and the accommodation.

About the rock, in the “Adamello” group a technical climbing on slabs and dihedrals prevails, while in the “Brenta” the dolomite rock is very compact, but often very generous in holds.
