Climbing routes in the Dolomites

Superb climbing routes in the breathtaking UNESCO Dolomites

The combination of a big range of climbing possibilities and the unique landscape of the Dolomites attracts climbers from all over the world. This extraordinary context offers itineraries of all levels. Most of the routes on  Catinaccio, Sella group, Sassolungo or Tre Cime di Lavaredo can be climbed in one day thanks to the high-altitude roads and ski lifts, which make it easier to access the walls. The routes on bigger walls, such as the south face of  Marmolada or the routes in Civetta group and in Pale di San Martino, require an overnight stay in a refuge. Together with the mountain guides of The Outside Planet you will have the opportunity to live a unique and unforgettable experience.

Advice

  • We absolutely recommend an overnight stay in a refuge, both for the quality of the welcome and for fully enjoying the climbing experience
  • If you are not used to climbing in these areas, start with some routes below your limit; the degrees of difficulty can be a bit tight.
